The second ten-day period of November passed without precipitation. The average daily air temperature ranged from significantly above the norm to significant cold snaps with noticeable night frosts in the eastern half of the country. There was a shortage of rainfall throughout the country. Only in the last days of the ten-day period there were small precipitations. In some areas of the southern, eastern and western regions, there was no precipitation at all. On most days of the ten-day period, fogs and thick fogs were observed throughout the country.
The average regional air temperature for a ten-day period was in the eastern, Zaporizhzhya, Dnipropetrovsk and Transcarpathian regions by 1.6-2.2 °C below the norm. In the southern, central, northeastern, Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Chernivtsi, Ivano-Frankivsk and Lviv regions – close to the norm, in the western ones – 1.0-1.5 °С above the norm and ranged from plus 5.0 °С in the west to minus 0.9 °С in the extreme east of the country. In the southern regions, the average ten-day air temperature was 5.5-6.8 °C.
Small precipitations were observed within 1-2 days mainly in the western, northern and central regions. Their average regional number in the southern, eastern (with the exception of Luhansk), western, Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava, Kirovograd and Ivano-Frankivsk regions ranged from 7 to 20% of the ten-day norm (1-3 mm). In places in the southern, Chernivtsi, Ternopil and Khmelnitsky there was no precipitation at all.
